| IMPORTANT: getting
as much information as is possible before making your choice
about where to go is very important because once you are admitted
to our celebrity addiction retreats, your choices become somewhat
more limited- in that you will have chosen to accept our unique
approach to helping celebrities within the structure which we
have discovered is necessary to do that effectively & properly
with LASTING RESULTS. So we don't want you to think you are
going to one kind of place and then find it is nothing like
that. |

How do you go about helping me &
what makes you different?
Craug Santini and his consultancy Celebrity Therapist is the first
facility in the world to offer an individual addiction, drug and
alcohol program structured specifically for prominent clientele,
or their family members. Most importantly it is completely private,
confidential and anonymous. We believe we have developed a treatment
program that is second to none. Each Client participates in the
preparation of a personalized treatment plan. No two people are
the same, each have different histories, experiences and needs.
Therefore, your treatment plan is developed specifically for you
to address your personal needs and is designed to launch you on
a lifelong healthy and addictive free journey.
We help you identify and begin to resolve issues, which may be directly
affecting your recovery and in the past could lead to relapse.
We concentrate on helping you to deal with the difficult feelings
that you have to contend with in this process without having to
resort to drink and/or drugs to cope with them. We identify common
circumstances, called “triggers,” that can lead to a
relapse into addictive behaviour.
This is a world first in this method of private treatment
for celebrity addiction, making us the ultimate, most influential
and exclusive lasting results focusesd program available. In short
the entire program itself combining the best practices of complementary
and leading-cutting- edge addiction healing modalities. This is
a world first in this method of private treatment for ANY addiction,
complusive gambling, alcohol and drug addiction anything and everything!
You can read our entire approach at the overivew of our addiction
programs or click on the text hyperlink.
That said our program is not
for individuals who think they might
want to change; it is for those who know
they are ready to commit to themselves and their future.
Why an Inpatient Program?
For many of our high profile clientele , a highly confidential “inpatient
treatment” can be a last resort, a place to go when all else
fails. In reality, it is a place of hope and rejuvenation, a place
where miracles happen and lives begin to make sense again.
Our exclusive retreats experience allows one the opportunity to
work on his or her personal issues for a significant amount of time
without the distractions or interruptions of daily life. By immersing
one's self in treatment for 30 days or more, one is able to look
at all the facets of life, get to the roots of issues, evaluate
relationships and patterns of living, and reprioritize and restructure
his or her life to begin a healthier, more fulfilling future. It
is a time of total honesty with one's self in a supportive, nurturing,
and healing environment.
We create a nurturing home environment, well appointed in comfortable
and stylish luxury, indeed our retreats iblends a truly individual
program with a wide variety of cutting-edge therapeutic techniques
and an environment that gives each client t the tools necessary
to achieve the highest likelihood of rapid and lasting recovery.
Do I need to be drug or alcohol free
on admission?
Yes you do- this includes a Methadone maintenance prescription.
We require all clients to be free from alcohol for 72 hours and
drugs for a minimum of two weeks prior to admission. You must have
completed detoxification to start the program we only involve ourselves
in totally natural detox program without ANY drugs-very powerful
and Rapid, or we can recommend very good standard conventional treatment.
( please see about Detox)
Warning: You will also be
excluded if you attempt to bring drink or drugs onto the premises
at any time- see rules of the house, coming up or - click here.
Tobacco Use
The policyat any of our retreats is to not deny a client's entry
into treatment because of the use of nicotine, but to address this
as an addiction. During Intake, clients will be told of our goal
to support them in becoming nicotine-free. However, for those who
do smoke, there are certain limited designated areas, outside only,
where smoking is permitted. You will not be able to purchase cigarettes;
it will be necessary for you to bring what you will consume during
your stay. Smokeless tobacco is not permitted at any of our retreats.
Are couples admitted?
We have found from experience that it is better if partners and
close friends are not treated at the same time at our retreats .
We therefore link with our other retreats to endeavour to treat
partners concurrently in different locations.
What about confidentiality?
This is extremely important to us because it is to you. Naturally,
some of our clients, either because of celebrity status etc, or
simply because of a desire for anonymity, demand a high level of
discretion. We at Celebrity Therapist recognise that celebrities
& high profile people require ultimate discretion and work diligently
to accommodate these needs at
ALL times. Remember these 'retreats' are confidential private luxury
residential homes, and numerous ones owned and sponsored by 'A'
list celebrities just like you, so another celebrity could be simply
staying there so 'know one takes any notice or has a clue what happens
inside.
Whilst you are in treatment at any of our retreats or any program
where we come to you, your personal details will only be available
to those coaching staff who really need to know them to be able
to help you. We will always obtain your written, signed consent
before passing information on to anyone else outside the Treatment
Team.
Could I be refused?
We endeavour to ensure that our program is suited to your needs.

a thorough analysis of your situation in our intake interview by
our coaching team. We will be willing to provide an explanation
of how our decision was reached.

What's the treatment like?
At Celebrity Therapist, high profile celebrities find different
results from the conventional treatment methods. The Santini International
- “Solution Focused Addiction Technologies”® promotes
permanent success. No matter what kind of trouble one has, there
is a fast and lasting solution.
It's a place where one can connect with life, health, meaning
and purpose. A place where you can appreciate the moment and bring
life into balance. You will be kept quite busy with various therapeutic
and educational activities throughout the day. i.e. horse riding
to tennis, yoga, meditation, painting, gym workouts to name a few
all designed to help you discover successful pathways to full 'discovery'.
These activities are timetabled and will mean that you will develop
a routine. We have built in greater flexibility within the timetable
over the years but we still feel there is great value in the routine
of a structured day. We urge you to participate in these scheduled
activities honestly and without reservation. There is no strict
regimen, and no pressure: guests are free to create daily agendas
which suit their whims, goals and mood. Whatever they end up with,
there is certainly plenty to choose from.
What say will I have in my treatment?
Treatment is a collaborative process and you will have decisions
to make and be expected to take responsibility for yourself to a
great extent throughout your stay. You will be consulted and involved
in anything which affects you. We do expect you to participate according
to the timetable if you are physically capable see about Our Luxury
Retreats.
How long does it last?
This program does depend on the extent of the addiction and a clients
specific personal circumstances surrounding it to ensure this is
the best and suitable option for the client. Normally the baisc
program i.e. The Celebrity Resurgence Experience.® is 30 days.
We also offer a world first where we come to you! Please see the
brief overview in treatment times by clicking here.
How will the staff/coaching team
treat me?
The staff will treat you with respect and care at all times. You
will find them genuinely supportive and empathetic. They will be
open and avoid defensiveness if they make mistakes. They are dedicated,
hard working and skilled. They are responsible, warm hearted and
good humoured professionals who really believe in what they are
doing.
What happens if I don't like the
program or don't agree with their interpretation of my problem?
We believe that there is great scope for personal interpretation
and application of the program we have called The Celebrity Resurgence
Experience.® . That is one of their
strengths. However we certainly don't want to be rigidly dogmatic
or insist there is only one way. We would do our best to find ways
of helping you, whatever your difficulties. Our approach to treatment
has evolved precisely because we have listened carefully to those
going through it and those who have tried many other conventional
12 step programs and were not happy. We hope that having decided
to come here, you will be as open minded as possible.
Will my family be involved?
The first thing is that your family or anyone else in your life
will only be involved if you want them to be. However, we do think
that in most (not all) cases it is very helpful to you and to them.
Each member of a family may affect the health of the others.
Certainly it will be much more helpful to you if your family understands
your illness. They may also be suffering in their own way and need
help for themselves. We have a Family
Program specifically for clients please click on text hyperlink..
Again, our Outcomes Study shows that involving the family tends
to improve the chances of good outcomes for most people.
While at the retreats am I allowed
visitors and can I use the telephone?
Only those people you wish to see will be able to visit you. We
prefer to leave it for at least the first 5 days of our coaching
program beofore you see any personal visitors to help you to settle
in to our treatment plan .
We invite you to bring your cell phone or use our pay telephones.
You may also bring your computer, your favorite music, books and
other things you normally use when at home. We have discovered that
restricting telephone use or visits from family or friends only
causes stress and anxiety. As much as possible, your normal life
should continue when you come into treatment. We will weave our
treatment program into your life so you will not experience any
stress from being out of contact with loved ones or business needs
while you are here. That permits you to achieve maximum effectiveness
from the program. The added benefit is that when you leave our retreats
you will not experience any return shock.
What happens if I relapse?
If you relapse while in treatment, you will be required to leave.
We will attempt to put you immediately in touch with our outside
coaching team If you relapse after being discharged you may reapply
for treatment.
Is re-admission possible?
Readmission will depend on the circumstances of your discharge.
Generally a period of at least five weeks is required before readmission
can be considered and you may be required to undergo an assessment
in person. You will need to discuss this with the coaching Team
What about Food at the retreats?
Our first class chef collaborates with the dietician and trainer
to ensure that the superb gourmet meals & snacks for each client
are suited to their needs. This is done while maintaining the highest
quality in preparation and presentation. Sharing meals together
with our coaching team also becomes a life enhancing event.
What can I bring with me?
There is NO nursing supervision patients take their own medications
and controlled substances are not allowed Please bring csual clothing
including clothing for exercise and swimming, washing accessories
and prescribed medication (with notes) is about all you will need!
What happens to valuables?
These are handed in for safe keeping and a receipt is provided.
The Team cannot accept responsibility for the loss or theft of or
damage to personal property not handed in.
What If I suddenly decide to leave
your retreat?
Should a client decide to leave our retreats before the end of
the first 30 days or agreed treatment time no part of the first
month’s fees will be refunded.
and to ask the Client leave, should any of the following circumstances
arise:
1. The Client’s therapeutic needs or living requirements can
no longer be provided by the facility
2. Any safety issues that arise, or could arise, as a direct result
of any aspect of the Client’s health, therapeutic needs or
living requirements
If the Client’s fees, as provided for in this contract, or
as re-assessed from time to time, are in arrears.
Do 'clients ' participate in running
the house?
We look upon our clients here at any of our retreats as your temporary
home and therefore we ask you to take some responsibility in looking
after it. However, the major responsibility for running them is
ours.
What will happen when I leave?
By the time you come to complete our programs we will have worked
out an aftercare plan for you.
You may be referred on to Extended or Secondary Residential Care
for a rehabilitation programme which may last several months. You
can read more in the overview of the Rapid Results addiction recovery
model itself and how it works by clicking here.
Are there rules in the house?
People generally have little difficulty in understanding that
it would be impossible to manage our retreats without some clear
guidelines, boundaries and even rules. However, we do not believe
in controlling people for its own sake. We prefer to operate as
much as possible from a position of trust.
We have a number of expectations about the way people behave which
we think are both reasonable and therapeutically justifiable. They
are defined as follows:
You will be discharged if:
- You use, acquire or attempt to acquire any alcohol, other drug
or mood altering chemical of any kind, including those used for
religious or cultural purposes, during your period of treatment,
except as prescribed by your doctor and clear evidence of that.
- You enter a Public House/bar.
- You participate in any form of gambling or enter a betting
shop. (This includes the National Lottery and Scratch Cards.)
- You smoke in any non-smoking area of the house.
- You threaten or offer violence of any kind to yourself, visitor
or member of our staff.
- You destroy or damage any property through an act of aggression.
- You enable the non-observance of any of these Basic Safety
Needs. By this we mean that if you know or suspect that any of
these rules have been broken you must inform the Treatment Team
immediately. You may be discharged if you hold on to this information
overnight.
For your safety we need to know straight away.
The above exist to help make the retreat a safe, healthy environment
for everyone. Many people say that they find them extremely helpful.
They are based on therapeutic principles and are constantly reviewed.
We welcome your input.
Behaviour is looked at mostly in terms of its effects and what
it communicates. Sometimes it indicates that a person has no real
commitment to his/her own recovery or that of everyone else in the
retreat and it is usually best for them to leave. We will do our
best to refer them elsewhere if that is their wish.
A final thought
from Craig Santini himself:
As Craig tells his clients/guests, each one
of us is born with everything that we need in this world.
What's more, everyone, including you, is born with the power
to become addiction free forever and a champion, a champion
of "life".
The body/mind connection exists, and can
be cultivated to varying degrees as a means of effectively
managing stress and promoting the immune system as well. To
achieve internal strength, you must use your mental and spiritual
powers to develop a positive mental and spiritual landscape
inside yourself; at the same time, you must define your goals.
These activities are the formative steps involved in what
I call soul building. The more effort you devote to this,
the more confident you will feel and the more capable and
unstoppable you will become!
The is not just a place to
heal and recover, it is truly a door which opens endless possibilities
to the life and person we were meant to become." |
