"Organise your NEW Celebrity Business idea, set a vision and take action!"

Problem or concern:

The International Model who wanted to set up her own business, have her own brand and needed strategy and the business mindset to make it all happen but did'nt know how or who to turn to in confidence....

Situation:

A well known model we will call her “Jan”wanted to set up a number of businesses outside of her normal chosen career. To have her own production company, restaurant and her own fashion to perfume designs. Jan wanted to launch very quickly with impact, and come up with a master plan, specific actions required, know what the short and long term business plan was as well as make sure she had the right people on board to help her run it all effectively and profitably.

What we did:
We had a number of meetings to determine the specific actions steps to consider or be needed and went through a powerful process to determine a number of key vital competences and roles of everyone concerned in all the projects. Including crafting realistic time lines for literally every thing and process and allowing for delays factored in and for any official day of launches, that most people embarrassingly get caught out in!

We determined various criteria and strategy with “ Jan” and involved carefully crafted tailored questions to what she wanted. We would like to share with you the reader some of these we typically addressed and had huge impact:

Is brand building considered central to the welfare of your organisation, or is it seen as one of several important sectors of the business? What is the essence of the master brand, identify your companies and all staff and teams: core competencies, qualities, skills values and disciplines? What is the value proposition that underlies your brand community? What will be the marketing and business strategies? How will you measure these and results?

One question that “Jan” was really impressed with and gave her much insight was when we asked “do you have an active, explicit commitment to, and strategy for, creating value not just for customers but also for the suppliers and intermediaries who are part of your brand community? And we also asked “what information do you have or can offer customers that currently appears to give your company a competitive advantage in specific markets?”

We then helped Jan know how to pick the best people to be involved and the selection process and how to determine and ask the right questions of them and core capabilities and how to partner with powerful win, win joint ventures with others key to your outcome. We developed a community SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) using the information obtained.

The Results:
“ Jan” was highly delighted and hugely successful in launching these and to date the insights as to what was needed and our powerful tailored SWOT analysis and our meetings gave her great leverage. They uncovered many overlooked opportunities, undervalued possibilities and powerful joint ventures and marketing strategies for each of her businesses she said “I would never have thought of or even considered.”

She hired the ‘dream team’ to make it all happen as a result and was able to work on her business instead of in her business which even full time people strive to do.
